I can't believe my baby is a senior...It seems like just yesterday I was holding her in my arms...rocking and singing to her. Now a beautiful young women. Senior at Mesa High last of our Kids. Varisity Cheerleader and a cute one if I say so my self. Full of life likes to have fun. Wishes you a year full of new adventures and lots of fun!!! love you lots!!!

Fun...fun day with Jd

SKY DIVING...yes I said Sky Diving!!!

JD, Josh, Kristy and I went. oh my gosh it was the neatest thing.

Flying like a bird is the greatest!!!!!

first thing I said when we landed was "when do we get to do this again" JD answer "in 2" so its planned. I can't wait...anyone want to come with us let me know... its the coolest thing!!!!

then off to the lake...tubing ...swimming...laughs...tons of fun

then home .. eat and off to bowling

lets just say a day of fun...we were all tired by the end of the night and sore

fun day we all had spending with JD

JD farewell July 26th

What a special day... the spirit was so strong. JD talked about his two best friend...Andrew and Travis and what a example they have been to him. Talked about faith and how with faith anything is possible. Talked about the temple and his experience... on how he loves to go and feel the spirit, the peace when he is there. He shared his testimony of the gospel and how he can't wait to share that with others on his mission. His sisters sang "In the Hollow of thy Hand" they sounded like angels. We knew this was a older but when Kristy, Nacole and Jenny were young this was a song on a tape that we listen to every sunday morning getting ready for church. The girls would always say "we want to sing this for our brother when he goes on a mission" so it's a special song. JD is a special young man that we know will touch many lives...he has touch ours.
What a special day for our family...we love you JD ...so proud of you!

Wow what a surprize to come home from girls camp...enter the house to the sound of 50's music, jute box, pink jackets, rolled up pants and bobby socks. You get the picture...5o's theme ummmm I wonder why.

All with subs, shirley temples, rootbeer floats and popcorn!!

As you can tell we aren't excited or nothing Ha we all couldn't wait to hear where and when. With Family and friends gather. Josh in Texas, Jenny in Flagstaff weren't able to be with us so Kristy and Nacole had them on the phone...testing...testing can you hear me now...we waited ...JD began to read "You are hereby called to serve as a missionary of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. You are assigned to labor in theKentucky Louisville Mission." WOW its real my little boy is going on a mission, I can't believe it here time goes by so fast. How proud I am of JD for the good young man he is, for choosing to serve his Heavenly Father. I know that there are people that only JD will be able to touch, many that are waiting just for him. I love you JD thank you for being my son.

It was rainy and stormy grad night so we ended up in the auditorium and only allowed

4 tickets. So Kristy and Jenny were the lucky ones to go with John and I to see JD graduate.

What a Happy and Sad moment all at the same time...no more high school football, no more volleyball. Thank you JD for years of fun watching you play... hit, tackle, kick, throw, serve. Funny but I am gone to miss the stinky clothes, sweaty hugs, loosing my voice, early morning hugs. THANK YOU FOR BEING MY SON!!

in march thanks to jodi we were able to go to disneyland.

she had cheer nationals there so we decided as a family to go support her.

July 22th my boy turned the big 18! Here he is modeling his football jersey. I got his orginal jersey that he wore all three years and I am going to frame it.
For is b-day we went to applebees with brothers and sisters and his grandparents. We enjoyed happy hour there and then we went bowling. We had a blast bowling and I do have to say that the first round I beat everybody. I had the highest score. Jd had fun and so did everyone else. We then went back to the house where some of his friends came over and we had cake and ice cream while he openend his presents. Overall it was a good night.
He is a great uncle and a good example to them. They sure love Jd and enjoy playing around with them. He loves them all too. They all like to swim together and jump off of Jd's shoulders. (Some of the kids are missing)
His sisters love their little brother. He is always willing to give hugs (even stinking sweaty ones).
He likes to goof around with them and tease them. They wouldn't have it any other way!
What can I say. He gave us many nights of excitement. He was fun to watch and we will miss seeing him out on the field. Did I mention that he was a great player too.

He can be super silly. He likes to have fun and not afraid to try anything!
He has a strong testimony of the church. He makes the right choices and he makes us very proud.
He likes to hang out with the boys and watching sporting events with them.
He is a great son. He and his dad can talk sports. He never fails to give me a hug in the morning or at night. He is also very protective of his little sis!
He loves his family and we love our Judeer. We hope you had a great b-day and we hope this year is a great one as you prepare for your mission. I love you Jd!

Braiden Loves His Grandma!

Braiden came and spent a week at grandma's house while his mom and dad went to Lake Powell. He is such a cute little boy. It was fun having him over and spending time with him. Jodi watched him and even took him to the mall with sister Nacole and her kids. Everyone said he was so cute and thought that he was hers. I love Braiden and he loves his grandma!

Circus

Jd, Jodi, Kristy and her kids, Nacole and her kids and I went to the circus. It was a blast. I loved it and I loved sharing it with my grandkids. The acts were amazing and the clowns were funny. There was on act that was hard for Jd to watch. It was a bunch of men swing and jumping from pole to pole. Landing hard right where it counts. We all had a good laugh watching him squirm in his chair. Over all it was a fun night out with some of my family.
